Quality Assurance - As part of our quality control process, all hand-crafted blankets are prewashed and flat dried, allowing for initial shrinkage before items are made available.

Take special care of your hand-crafted blanket, they are a treasure that requires proper care to ensure they last well into the future. No matter what the yarn fibre content, hand-washing is the gentlest way to clean your piece and is preferred to using a washing machine (this helps avoid felting and shrinking). We recommend using a mild detergent (appropriate for the yarn fibre content), and always use cold water.

 

Washing -

• Add detergent to cold water and mix well
• Gently swish blanket in liquid
• Soak for 10 - 15 minutes
• Do not wring
• Do not scrub

 

Rinsing -

• Drain the liquid
• Add fresh cold water for rinsing
• Repeat until water is clear and free of suds
• Lift blanket out and gently squeeze out excess water (do not wring)
• Roll up in dry towels
• Press firmly to absorb liquid (do not wring)

 

Drying -

• Lay blanket on a dry towel laid on a flat surface
• Turn blanket over and replace towel occasionally to assist the drying process
• Adjust shape as required without tugging or pulling

Australia - We offer Local Pickup, Flat Rate Shipping of $15 for orders up to $140 and *Free Shipping for orders over $140. We include insurance cover up to a maximum value of $1500. *Remote surcharge may apply.

 

International - We ship worldwide except for USA and Canada. A quotation for shipping costs will be provided for approval before acceptance of your order. At checkout select Quote International Shipping and use the Offline Payment method. Some deliveries may incur taxes and/or customs fees and duties. These are the responsibility of the buyer.
