Created in buttery soft 100% pure linen and beautifully finished with our signature hand embroidery using exquisite French DMC thread. Choices include fabric and embroidery thread colours, and optional ties on corners, or sides with drawstring ties to enable shaping around a pram or baby nest. Discover all the wonderful details about our heirloom quality hand crochet blankets & meet our maker! Sarah, a talented artisan from Melbourne, has partnered with us to offer a small selection of exquisite one-off pieces. Each luxury hand crochet blanket is unique and crafted by hand. The gorgeous natural yarns are either 100% pure soft cotton or 100% pure soft wool sourced from Bendigo Woollen Mills, Victoria Australia. The wool produced is Australian-grown wool from the NSW Highlands region. These blankets offer perfect warmth and style for the bassinet, cot, morning walks in the pram or in larger sizes, as a luxury throw for your living or bedroom space. MEET OUR MAKER I live on the outskirts of Melbourne with my wonderful husband and three gorgeous kids. Although taught to knit and crochet as a little girl, it was 2015 that saw me venture back into the world of knitting. At the time I was instructed not to do anything for 2 weeks due to the rest required following skin cancer surgery. What to do? I bought yarn and knitted a blanket in those two weeks. I was hooked (pardon the pun)! After a while, I had to desire to learn how to spin my yarn, so I bought a wheel and worked on trying to perfect that skill. This resulted in winning several awards at the Bendigo Wool Show for my hand knitted blankets and handspun yarn. Fast forward to 2019 (Covid) and I decided to give hand crochet blankets a try. I fell in love with this craft and haven't looked back. ​I am excited to continue my work with Soulty Tribe Threads in making beautiful, unique heirloom blankets and luxury throws, Australian made for you and your loved ones.
